In my 95 Cougar, there are two hoses from the EVP outlet side.
One hose gets left open as far as I can tell. The NC valve in the EPV keeps it sealed until Purge cycle hose goes from the EVP to the bottom outlet of the PCV (heads directly to intake manifold, not PCV inlet upon Purge cycle)

Which hose goes on top?

Thanks

I know how the PCV works.

This might well be 94/95 specific, I don't know for sure.
Which outlet of the EPV goes to the PCV?
Top hose or bottom hose?

One is left open, and one goes to PCV

Does anyone have this tidbit of information
On the 94/95 cars the EPV has two outlet hoses, one on top and one below it.

One outlet is left open, the other goes to the PCV valve. Which hose goes to PCV,? Top or bottom hose?

What do you mean by "EPV"?

Evaporative emissions Purge valve located at the charcoal canister.

1 line comes in from the fuel tank vent, goes in 1 inlet at the top of the can. The outlet goes to two hoses, one to open air, the other to the PCV valve.

I need which one goes to PCV or which one stays open. Either will do.

Now that we know what you meant by EPV - for a 1995, neither goes to the PCV valve.

Here's the page from the servicing DVD attached.

It goes to a vacuum Tee on the top of the PCV valve, as I said earlier. There is no port open to atmosphere, would kinda defeat the purpose of the system if there was
From CANP to the PCV shows clearly on the diagram. The diagram does not show the second line I refer to.
Okay, I need to show some pictures next time the bumper cover is off. My solenoid is right next to the canister and two lines come off the solenoid. I can't figure where the second one goes...

I've never seen another one setup the same, which makes me wonder why and if it has been altered from original.

From the 94 T-Bird-Cougar service manual, if it can help...
