Just curious, what did you guys run into w/ your Explorer swaps, money-wise? Just a nice round number, nothing to particular. I have a 95 4.6 so I would need to get more than most guys, but I'm just looking to see if I can even put this in the relm of being in my racing budget.

Thanks guys,

Brandon

I paid
$1040 for the engine
$100 for new mounts
$115 for the TC
$25 for the flexplate
$90 in Fluids (coolant, oil, power steering, transmission)
$190 for a 99 GT intake manifold (wasn't a "need" it was more of a "want" to take care of the heater line right)
Grand Total= $1,535 those numbers are rounded up. and I got lucky not having to buy little stuff to get it running. Just dropped it in, wired it up, and fired up on the first try...like it's supposed to.

Pretty much the same as stinkfist as far as price. Shop around for deals and get the extras a 95 needs from the salvage and you can do it for a few hundred over the price of the engine. Then add stuff later to get all you can out of it, such as MAF, tune, dual exhaust, etc.
