yea im taking the F.I. off the car and going to carb. i find it easier for myself to be able to work on. and plus i wont have all them sensors to go bad and screw up the way the car runs. and while im in the car that far om going ahead and putting a cam in it. but the setup im putting on the car is all temporary untill i get the money together to rebuild the whole motor. and here very very very soon im getting a c4 with a reverse manual valve body to put in.......so it seems as though im getting the car together alot quicker than i thought. il lpost some pictures later once i get the intake and carb and all on.

if your going carbed go w/ a 351 because it seems like such a shame to alter the 5.0 H.O. find a f150 w/ 5.8 and throw a carb on that. someone else did that here (sorry i can't remember who right now) its dark red w/ high rise intake over hood.

edit:its 95badbird's 5.8 t-bird.

how is it goin? I got an offer from someone to put a 5.0 carbed in placed of my shot 3.8. Wondering if it's worth it.

bulldog im doing the 5.0 carb swap in my 96 3.8 and its going to look HAWT. my biggest problem so far is that with my high rise intake and the hood. the hood needs to be cut im thinking.

bulldog the only wiring you need is a switch power for your coil. then the tach will be another small task but i really havent got to my wiring so im just going off the top of my head. with a carbed swap there is little to no wiring

its not going to bad really. ive stopped on it for now cause its just a little to cold for me to be out working on it right now. but i dont have to do too muck more just finish running the fuel system and then come up with a mount for the throttle cable and how im gonna make the tv cable work. sounds like alot more but its not really too bad

im glad that with my swap i only need to worry about the throttle cable. god bless manuals!
