How does one remove this? I have an after market unit I plan to use, I don't need or want the factory so I want to remove it.

hey scotty!

I believe you can just pull the module out from the trunk.
It should be on the left side underneath the trunk carpet, next to the fuel pump shutoff switch.

Be happy you do have factory keyless, because without it, adding an aftermarket keyless entry system is a PITA, I have yet to figure out what wires I need to splice into and where they are at

Look at my thread I have, I got the pit out n junk for the wiring. I got a remote start/keyless entry that I will be putting in this weekend.

I will look in the trunk for that box.
