Robert and I were talking about this.

Who has or was the fastest mm12 in the motor using a 2v 4.6?

Nitrous or no nitrous?

No nitrous, NPI heads, the N/A record holder is Johnny Langton. 12.16 IIRC.

When did that occur??

Far as I know JL does own the quickest ET with whatever his built combination was being NPI - NA.

I own the quickest pure stock NPI with mine at 13.89 back at Cecil Co in 2004 prior to the PI Swap.
My non ported PI headed car with stock cast iron shortblock also went 12.94 last fall at Cecil & 13.0 this spring at Mason Dixon.

Hans ran some of the quickest times back in 2004-2006 time frame I think but not sure of the build whether aluminum block, PI, ported polished or whatever.

Paint me has had some quick runs too but not sure of his set up?

I'm sure there are others

Perhaps I didn't word my post correctly or you missed the second sentence (which I doubt lol). "Only considering PI heads" meaning PI-headed and not NPI.

LOL!

I'm not sure what NA or power adder combo Chris Danner had but it may have been PI. I know his went a 12.50? at some point. Again, I don't know the combo but I had seen the slip someplace. I beleive he ran at or near sealevel track in Houston.

Hans I believe had an aluminum block with ported and Polished heads, cams etc and I know he was well down in the 12's in good air in NC. Not sure if it has stuff pulled or full weight or what. At one time I had seen the slip on that run too.

Justins PI 2V ran Sunday at Fayetteville and I was there and saw it run the 12.76 & a couple 12.8's. Its a 4.6 2V Ported and polished PI heads and cams, kooks, cast iron bottom end in really good air Sunday.

I know R429260 runs down in the 12's with his 2V but I really don't know the combination other than on E85.

Did anyone see a slip for his 12.60 run? I wonder what would mine run with over 400 lbs off it?

That is some serious weight savings. Also, to bad he had to part out his car....

So JL has the record. I assume he had high compression motor.

N/A would be no power assets at all! Not even meth.
So octane booster wouldn't be allowed? That's all meth does. Kinda like saying "it's not N/A if you're running race fuel @ 110octane+. :confused:

JL's car was NOT a PI motor 2V. IT was NPI.

They are saying a car 400 lbs lighter than yours in 3000 ft of DA air, went quicker than yours without ported and polished heads and cams, with 4.30's and such.

I want proof like we do on our forums!!!!! 12 people saw yours Sunday and I made one of the passes in your car myself.

Again, some of the others have been verified over the years. Just saying.

For the sake of argument. I think we should limit the fuel for this discussion to 93 octane pump gas.

That's besides the point. I'll be running 93 octane in my stock rebuild :)D). But does the fact that I'll have meth make it NOT N/A? That's what I'm getting at.

Meth is a power adder, regardless of what its does, its an aftermarket product bought to boost the performance of an engine. As far as I know, I don't know any cars running meth from the factory.

He's got them and about 12 people there that saw him do it LOL!!!!! Besides that his wife went a 12.78 in it and I saw that too!!!!
