Working on the video's the wife is not very good with camera to say the least.
First of all. Congrats Darren. :zbeer:

Second of all, Daym that Tarus is fast! A real sleeper!

Third. Time to update your best time in your signature. :D

Did you try changing the air pressure in the tires? I'd try 15 up to 18 psi like Rob recommended. How many runs did you get in?

Details details!

How did you runs compared to the rest of the field there?

Mike, Ron, Ray thanks for the kind words. I did decrease the air pressure in the tires to 18 psi. Ran four times. My best run (first of the day) (12.23) was against a Corvette, and I stayed with him until mid track when the engine busted out a bit :zdunno: and that was when he pulled away from me. As far as the rest of the field, there were a lot of open header, big cubic inch drag slicks. There were three Mustangs 5.0's and I just plain out left them . There is an 11 in there somewhere like Robert said because it pulls like a mule. And on a side note , make sure every thing is planted for it goes flying into the back seat LOL even the moon roof shade fly's open :D

Signature updated.

First pass & fastest with Silver Vette with whistle.

I'm pretty sure I ran against that same Corvette. I had him beat to the 1/8th mile until he hit the nitrous and left me.

I'm thinking with my next round of mods that won't be a problem. ;)

Here is a good squat ;)

And a Launch

By the way guys all the money collected from entry, concession and everything else yesterday, went to the Oklahoma Tornado Relief Fund. There was a pretty decent turnout, so I am sure they collected a nice sum to donate.

Ever wondered what the psi is at the contact point between the pinion and ring gear during a launch like that . That's something GM could figure out, he's the math dude lol.
