Dude got loose when he almost hit that car, then locked the brakes instead of countersteering and powering out of the slide.

He'd have still hit the guardrail, but he'd have sideswiped it, instead of nailing it end-on.

It's awfully easy to kill people driving like that; he's lucky he's not going to prison for that too.

Something for you Legal racers to remember; at speed, the inertia of the vehicle is larger than the traction amount.

Yanking the steering wheel sideways at over 100mph will just rotate the entire car about it's center of gravity, until the speed slows enough to hook the tires back up.

Then, you go shooting off the road, whichever direction the tires are pointed. :)

As only exactly 1 out of 360 directions is the correct one, you have very little hope of pulling this off by random chance.

Locking up all four wheels until you get the car pointed the right direction is an option, if you ever do this by accident; it is possible, if you've practiced it enough. :)

They used to give the troopers here a driving course like that; my Dad taught it for a few years. :)
