Here are finally some decent pics of my 97 after the swap. It still has a long way to go, (Still have A LOT to do as far as underhood appearence, Interior, and chassis bracing). At least I can say it over 50 percent done now though haha.

Thanks fellas. Yeah it is lowered, I used Suspension Techniques lowering springs. I wish it sat about an 1-1.5 lower but Im not sure if I'm going to change them or not. They were supposed to be 1.5in lowering springs but they only lowered it about 1in front and rear. They did make a nice improvement in handling though. The Trick Flow intake really helps give the car a nice top end pull, it took a lot fabrication by the shop that built it to make it all work. (Im sorry to say the shop that built it, I wish i could have done the drivetrain myself, but I know when im out of my league). Overall I would say the money spent on the intake and to make it work would have probably been better spent elsewhere, but if I ever want to build a motor radical N/A or Forced indution motor Im going to be glad i've got it.

what kind of fabrication or modifications were needed in order to make the trick flow manifold fit? I see the "custom radiator hose" along with the flipped newer alternator, egr delete, and intake tube. But was there any modifications to the intake manifold coolant return tube under the intake manifold? was there any cutting or grinding needed on the rear of the block? I've been looking into it but everyone who has "made it fit" isn't really explaining what needs to be done.

I don't believe any cutting or grinding was required, I would imaigine the coolant return tube is slightly different though. But I am not 100 percent sure since I didn't install the manifold.

Looking good man. I hope you enjoy the Swap, I DID! Don't slice your fingers off on that shift handle.

Car looks good... and I'd LOVE to have that intake! Not so crazy bout the shifter knob... (never liked "pistol grip" "or "T-style" shifters... always preferred the round style knobs I could just grab. But thats just me.

Thanks fellas. Yeah, I thought I would like that shift knob more than I do. I think I will probably just end up using a round black ball.

I actually didn't swap it in myself. I had a shop do it for me. The total bill was quite a bit but I had my engine done as well and as we all know these cars arent cheap to modify. I would say though on a tight budget if you did the work yourself you could do it for 2,000 maybe less.

It should be a little easier swap on a 3.8 since you can use all the clutch parts, driveshaft, and transmission from an SC as far as I know.

Looks Lovely! Not too fond of standard yet, but I probably will be eventually. I do like that shifter handle pretty well. Looks sleek. Good luck completing your project!

Hey guys thanks for looking! Thought I'd update this real quick with some new interior and underhood shots. underhood stuff is obvious, interior all I did was switch to new black carpet from scp, finally got my SC console in and console e brake swap done, and Corbeau GTS II seats with matching rear seat skin from SCP. Also I took my rotors off and painted the hubs black to get rid of the rust.

With my new Cobra.
