Anyone on here ever play with Microsofts Flight simulators? I got FS 2000 several years ago, and have steadily collected planes for it till I have about a gigabyte of just airplanes!

MFS2K is a good game. I had plenty of add-ons for it too. Too bad my computer can't even think about running that game anymore. Way too slow and choppy.

Yea, I'd love to get MSFS2004, but I have to upgrade my computer first. At least get a bigger hard drive to hold the add-ons!

I use FS2004 whenever I can't get up in the real ones.

Have downloaded a bunch of add-on airplanes.

My top favorites:

1. B-58 Hustler
2. XB-70
3. SR71 Blackbird
4. F-16 in Thunderbird trim.

I liked F15 Strike Eagle 3 kind of old now. Then Jet Fighter 3 or 4 not sure but my favorite was EF2000. That had some awesome graphics and game play in it. Although the AI leaved a lot to be desired. co-worker borrowed it and never returned it. Left the company and moved...

Edit: F16 - Back to Bagdad that came out in early 90's was good.. you got to drop a nuke on bagdad if you wanted to.

It can be a multiplayer game, involving others on the internet. FS2004 is flying all kinds of aircraft. (see Flightsim.com) Others in the Microsoft line are Combat Flight Simulator (WWII European Theater) CFS II (WWII Pacific Theater) CFS III (European Theater with much improved graphics, sound, and details) I have FS2000, CFS, and CFS II.

I have even downloaded aircraft from Flightsim.com and repainted them with my own paint schemes, nose art, tail art, etc.
