it supposedly gives it a more accurate reading when you have a bend in front it like with a cold air intake...i have to flip my pro m with my cold air intake because the hood hits the sensor otherwise...
Flipping the MAF is a great big bunch of horse-patooty (pronounced 'pah-too-tee')
I know there is an article on this site about it somewhere... Now where did it go...
