I was talking to James Kanteraki from SCCoA and he mentioned attaching a set of reinforcement bars to the frame running the length of the frame between the wheels, attached with around 10 bolts on each side. As a result, he reported the car tracked straighter and was more composed. Given that our cars aren't the stiffest thing in the world, I'd like to replicate the same thing on my car.

How would I go about doing this and what would be the best method of doing it?

I already have front and rear shock tower braces, L-brackets for the rear deck, lower engine cradle braces and a rear torsional load brace.

What materials would be best to use, and what anchor points should I use? Should I run on top of the rails or attach on the inboard exposed side of the rails?

Thanks guys.

Don't sub frame connectors run in an X instead of laterally?

If this will do what subframe connectors will do, I'll just buy the subframe connectors...

Ok, I wasn't sure if they did the same thing. JL has been contacted.

My floor is rusted in the rear between and around the rear subframe and rockerpanel to the point that no one want to bother trying to fix it because they say as soon as they remove the floor the car will lose it strenght and buckle. I love the car so I wnat to keep it. what i'm thinking of is instaling subframe connecter to strengten the car to be able to remove the floor while keeping the body straight. I would like to know if it would make sense to put in all that effort and if anywone know for sure if it could work.
