so I am pulling my transmission tonight to replace, naturally you have to pulll the drive shaft, and low and behold, what do I see, why it is a nice lightweight one piece driveshaft, score one for my bird...while working bolts on the tranny, I notice some lines going into the tranny, follow them up to the front of the car, what do I see, a nice little tranny cooler mounted before the radiator, score two for me...aparently the previous owner of my car, WHO I HAVE NEVER MET, was a cool person, and gave me some already planned upgrades I was gonna get done while my tranny was out. finally, some luck my way.

I haven't really checked the cooler out that much, just looked and saw it, I was loosing daylight, so I didn't really focus on the cooler, just getting th tranny out, and no, I didn't realize the car had a one piece because up until this point, I had no reason to look at the driveshaft. I wasn't going to replace it until I had to do something to require taking the driveshaft out (i.e. tranny work) so I wasn't to worried about it.and as far as the tranny cooler goes, I haven't had any reason to look where it is mounted, so I was unaware it was there...not like I am ignorant about cars, I just hadn't needed to look for these mods, and they were not of TOP priority for me at the moment, so I wasn't aware of them. No big deal, less work for me, and yes I believe the ds is from a mark, anyone have any pics for verification purpouses???
