i read recently that the front hub bearing assembly was a bolt on and the rear was a press. I was just at the local parts supply and he showed me one for the front for my 94 cougar that needs to be pressed on.can anybody tell me for sure before i start into this????are their 2 types for a 94 cougar??? any help would be appreciated. i didnt want to have to take the wheel off just to look!
thanks

Did he have the right part number? The front hub and bearing is a one-piece, pre-assembled unit. You take the nut off the spindle, pull the old unit off, slide the new unit on, and torque to 250 ft-lbs. Be sure to replace the nut; at that torque value, it's effectively a single-use item.
