I need to know which year Thunderbird hoods can be swapped for a 96-97 Cougar hood?

I need a hood with the bulge near the front.

Also the front bumper cover interchangeability between models and years.

96/97 hoods would be a direct swap. 94/95 hoods would fit, but the gap between the headlights and the front bumper would be slightly off. If you are also changing the bumper though, you can also then change the headlights, and I then any nose from any 89-97 tbird or cougar would bolt up.

After doing some research, 94-97 t bird hoods look the same as the 96 97 cougar hoods?
As far as the forward bulge is concerned.

An I correct, the junk yards here are without MN12's.

I would go with the 96-97 cougar bumper cover and headlight panel.

Yes, 96-97 Thunderbird and Cougar both used the exact same hood. The Cougar bumper cover has a gap where the Thunderbird one rises up to have a logo mounted. The Cougar "logo" goes on the screw on grill that mounts to the hood itself.

96-97 had the "power bulge".

So does any one want to sell those parts?

I'll drive as long as it's worth it.
