Does anybody know what would cause this...
When I am stopped and my wheels are turned (left or right) and I ease up on the break the it feels like the whole front end moves from side to side. I don't hear any distinctive sounds when it does this so it is hard for me to pin down the cause. I don't notice any real problems when driving forward at any speed or when I do normal turns.
Also, I don't know if it related but when I am backing up and hit the breaks I get a chunk sound and it feels like somthing is hitting...
The car has 135k miles on it and I am unsure of the maint. history of this vehicle.
I don't have a lot of resources at my disposal since I am living in S. Korea, parts take a while to get here and finding someone with the tools/abilities to work on a "foreign" car can be difficult so any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
