My car seems too have a pretty good wobble above 65MPH when braking, brakes (rotors) don't seem to be the cause, I'm betting on ball joints/hubs?
Boots on upper(s) are destroyed, and car has 140K, no front end work ever done.
I have entire service history on car from original owner.
Who from/what brand should I buy???

Prices warranty variances;
Kragen
Moog K80053 /K80055 $64.99 Lower control arms 1 year warranty
Moog K8596 / K8598 $74.99 Upper control arms 1 year warranty
TRW 10759 / 10760 $85.99 Upper control arms lifetime warranty (w/o SC)
TRW 10771 / 10772 $64.99 Lower control arms lifetime warranty (for SC??)
Mcquay Norris FA1773 $81.99 Upper control arms lifetime warranty

RockAuto.com
Moog K80053 /55 for $51.79 lowers

A lot of people on here use rcokauto's moog parts, but watch out they are quick to charge $20 shipping for a $10 part! As you can see, their prices are the cheapest you listed and if you search, you can find one of the 5% off discount numbers on the forums. Just make sure you check the shipping charges, it might not be the best deal in the long run.

Those bad ball joints on the upper control arm could very likely be the cause of your shimmy. I had a shimmy at certain speeds (while cruising, I don’t remember if it shimmied while braking) a little while after I got my 96. It turned out to be the drivers side upper control arm.

I bought the replacement uppers from AutoZone with a lifetime warranty 2 years or so ago. I'd say go ahead and get the parts with the lifetime warranty if you plan on keeping the car for any amount of time.

Thanks for the info.
RockAuto.com wants $42.95 for ground shipping. (robbery!!)

Think I'll buy the lifetime uppers from AutoZone, and the lifetime lowers from Kragen.
One more question Kragen has 2 different sets....

TRW 10771/10772 Control Arm w/Ball Joint; Front Suspension; Lower; LH; w/Super Coupe Lifetime Replacement Warranty $64.99
TRW 10759/10760 Control Arm w/Ball Joint; Front Suspension; Lower; LH; w/o Super Coupe - Lifetime Replacement Warranty $85.99

Will the $65 SC ones work, or do I have to fork over another $40 for the other ones?

Yeah the lifetime warranty is nice.. Especially since the Moog and TRW part will be identical. I believe the moog is a re-boxed TRW part.
