question - are the struts the same for V8 and V6 cars?

Any part#'s for a '95 V8?

A friend of mine was in the salvage business and came across a v6 car with brand new shocks/struts in the boxes in the trunk. If they're the same, it's a heckuva find for me.

Yes, I believe the shocks are the same for both V8 and V6 cars. The springs however are different. (struts are for Fox bodies)

What kind of shocks did he come across?

The part #'s are: Napa Sensertrack 5965 and 71845 They are still in the boxes.
