well i got in my thunderbird today started it and i noticed my fuel gauge wasnt working anymore it fell all the way passed full and stayed. I checked fuses but nothing i was wondering if anybody had any suggestions thanks.

mine its doing the same thing, ran out of gas once...just good thing it was down the street from a station and I just let it roll all the way into the stall. Talk about being lucky :rofl:


Back on topic though....Im thinking it might be the sender just not too excited about drop the fuel tank.

You might want to check the connections to the gauge cluster. Reseat them and make sure they are clean. Also, on the right side of the gauge cluster there is a circuit board for the fuel gauge. Make sure it hasn't backed out of its connection, as this can cause the fuel guage to be inoperable.
