I have also been reading about FP for a VERY long time on Bob's oil page. seems like a good product.

I doubt if people here know it much, 'cause it's not advertised nor avaiable in shops.

I've "almost" decided to get it, but I don't know if my car REALLy needs it...and you have to buy a whole gallon: that sucks.
I wrote to the inventor of FP himself, and he says they're going to come up with 12 oz. bottles soon...should I wait? I don't know.

why do you want to try it? any fuel-relatefd prob's?

the reason is i have always getting only about 180-190 miles per average of 4/5 tank from my gas, and many here seems easyly getting 240 mile and up pergallon. change the fuel filter already. haven't change spark plug yet because now tranny is shuddering and planning on jmod around week or two so don't want to make the engine too strong for now to avoid killing my tranny. by the way the previous owner change the fluid with some green color tranny fluid and is low on it. so now it has about half mercon 5(i add it) and half of other greenstuff. what kind of tranny oil is green color that you suspect in it? because i know mercon 5 is red....

Where is this "fuel power" thing on his site? I am a general doubter of the reliability and unbiased nature of the site and the tests it purports as scientific. If you do a search on here you will see a rant or two from me about the "conclusive additive test"...

Well... He says

Also notice how the oil on the right has settled down to the bottom leaving very little on the gears. This is the PRIME REASON for not adding in additives into a already good designed oil/ lubricant. Myself, didn't see this coming. It makes perfect sense what happened and would have thought it would help this oil to lubricate at startups but instead, it created more problems than it solved.
That Lubricant control is an additive. As well as the Fuel Power. Wouldnt the same apply to these? Also the website sponsors vehemently say that solvents are bad which is what MMO is. The lubricant control, off of the the lubricant control website, is a solvent. So why is LC not reccomended on the site? And the "independent test" conducted on LC, FP, and the Auto-RX(also a site sponsor) was conducted by the same company (also a site sponsor). The leading guy for the lab also worked for both the company that makes LC/FP and for Auto-RX.

All of this could simply be pure coincidence. I tend to not believe the "independent" testing or "unbiased" opinions of the website. Not disagreeing with the products, because I have ever used them. However I am not going to plunk down 30 dollars for something that the manufacturer and his friends says works...

I'm undecided if I want to try this...
However, the good thing is: I e-mailed a few people who just tried it, and the main thing is: while it could be useless/doesn't do anything. it didn't do any harm either, so I guess one can try it without any damage, but 20+ bucks is really too much.

I'm also against all sorts of additives. I used to try oil additives, but am now of the opinion a very good oil protects well, and that's enough.

The only reason I thought of this FP is due to my T-bird pinging evey time I use lower than 93 oct.(even after cleaning the MAF, and with no mods)
