Ok, so I finally got a fuel pressure gauge and mounted it today to my schrader valve. My problem was originally that the car would stumble and die when first starting it up, and when I would try to start it back up for a second time it would fire right up like nothing had ever happend. I was told it was the IAC or a possible leeky fuel injector. So, at idle the gauge reads 34psi, and then when I shut off the car it goes up to almost 40psi. I checked it about 10-20 minuts later and it was at almost 50psi. Then I checked it again about 3 hours later and it was at 10psi. Is this normal? Also I did change the IAC and that did nothing to improve start-up. I just looked at the gauge five minuts ago(12:15am) and it read 0psi. Is that at all right?Any help is greatly appreciated!

Not sure if you have, but listen to make sure you can hear your fuel pump come on as soon as you turn your key to the "ON" position. It is quite common that our pumps start breaking down after 100,000 miles.

Sorry to be off topic, but could you tell me how you mounted the gauge on the schrader valve? Did you use an adapter or did the gauge come with the schrader fitting on it already?

Thomas, I got the gauge at Jeggs and it is a BBK unit. It comes with a fitting that screws into the fuel rail so you'll have to remove your old valve. Then because the gauge is to big in diameter and the new valve is to tall you'll have to buy a bend that fits the valve and the gauge. I got a "L" shaped adapter that works great from Napa for $2.30. If I get a chance then I'll post some pictures on here with my new cell phone. I'm not sure though how to do post pictures though so if someone could help I'd be appreciative.
