Just saw the movie "Jade" on DTV today... I heard people talking about a Tbird being in the movie... BUT WTF!!! They forgot to mentoin it's in the movies main chase scene for like 15 fregin minutes of tearing it up, taking corners like mad, getting air... I repeat getting air, and crashing into other cars!!! It's a really really long chase and I had a boner the whole time!! Its a black 93 5.0 with rear window sun shades (camaro style) and a wing.... It's just to bad the movie sucks! Its a real cheezy movie with some wannabe porn scenes... But the Tbird alone makes it worth the price of admition!

So uh, were the 'porn' scenes any good
?

I'll go rent it - cheezy or not, chase scenes are sometimes worth it. Including Bullit - the movie sucked, except for that chase scene :).

BTW - here's my recomendation for anybody who likes a gorgeous chick 9/10'th nekid - "UnFaithful" with Diane Lane - GORGEOUS!!! Multiple nude scenes. I'm only 23 and love how she looks

Well it was a 92. They say it, and the wheels on it were of 89-92 LX style. Some people claim it's a sport but there is nothing the proves that.

I just rented it. going to copy the chase onto a blank VHS, maybe someone here can convert it to digital?

P.S. The bird wouldn't have gotten away if David Caruso had sprung for the SHO model Taurus!

Yes it would have, a Taurus is still a Taurus.

Look up what a SHO is before you condem it as just a taurus. My SHO does 0-60 in under 7secs (closer to 6), and I've had it up to 156mph. STOCK

So GB, be honest. Just which one do you like better? Your TBird or your SHO?

come on man

SHO's are the ****, shure they are 4 door so I would take a bird over any SHO as far as looks go. Plus, I'm sure our birds ride better... But the SHO's are cool little rockets with a rare "sleeper" value to boot!

I know what an SHO Taurus is, I've looked them up before, I just think a well driven T-Bird in the end would outrun any Taurus, SHO or not. I'm not saying they aren't fast.

Heres my question about SHO's. Can they corner like a t-bird. If they can't than it's all over.

I've never drivin a FWD car that can hold the road like a RWD.

So is this where we argue about Tbirds and Tauri, just like the 4.6 vs 5.0 arguement? Or discuss Jade ;)?

I rented it this afternoon (hey, I was bored!), and it wasn't that bad of a movie.

The car is the best part - probably the part where the woman gets run down is the best part for the car. Close up shot of it screaming towards ya :).

The scene where it hits the Taurus at the end - kinda fake looking? Wouldn't it tend to just push it along the ground?

And the car - it looked like it had either a SC bumper cover on the front, or another aftermarket piece. And what was up with the fugly wing?

It also didn't sound like a Ford (4.6 or 5.0).

thats why I thought it was a 93

It has the 93 front bumper (the year they put the SC's front bumper cover on LX's) but it has 92 Rims. Weird.... You think if they put that front bumper on the car and the wing and shades they would have put on 93 or better rims!

They put those bumpers on the sports in 92 and in late manufacturing season(end of the year ) they started using the SC front end

I like them both. Right now the SHO is like a sports car, and the bird a highway cruiser. I'm sure that later on those roles will reverse. :king:

My SHO handles better than my bird. Both cars are well maintained and have stock suspensions. Many people who claim FWD's don't handle well just haven't driven a FWD enough to change their RWD habits. Also your stereotyping of FWD's and RWD's shows that you haven't had alot of experience with diverse models.

I only ask because you sure to praise your SHO a lot on here over your TBird. I've got all the respect in the world for them, I've gotten raped by more than one. ;)
