Well, thanks to Gerald Ford (no desrespect intended) and a nice Jan day I got the duals taken off of the LE and put on the LX. :D

Getting the downtubes cut off of the LX was a task. The cutoff wheel didn't fit well in the tight confines under the car, and my compressor doesn't perform well with the high speed items. But between the wheel and a Dremel (LOL Yes, I said Dremel) I got the pipes cut in the right place to bolt the duals up. Sounds good! Ahhh Its good to drive a car that sounds so good again.

I bet your neighbors always have some thing to say. I'm always working on the birdie or playing around in my storage garage especially with the way the weathers been. Looking good so far Mike, update the pictures when get it on. :thumbsup:

The Duals look the same as they did on the LE, except I didn't cut out the bumper. I'm thinking of using 3" single tips the way the Late 90's Mustang GT's did. Actually I was thinking of the neighbors when I was under the car using the cut off wheel. That thing does make some noise! But I haven't heard from them yet, and the LE is under a cover when I'm not working on it.

Good to see you getting one together Mike! As I remember, that exhaust did sound great! :D Does the LE have a salvage title now?

Yep, its a salvage car. I'm going to get what I need/want from it, sell as many parts as I can, then sell the hulk to the local salvage yard.

I'll probably do the rear sway bar next, as its pretty much a simple one hour job (with breaks of course :D )

And this is of course all dependent on weather.

How many miles and how much for the engine in the LE?
