Crap...

I turned 30! The knees still work and my hair is all there so...I'll have a beer.

Seriously...Thank you guys!

OxmanWI,

C'mon you know I love to help!

PHXBird,

Gracias!

95LX,

Jim...I trust you are doing well! I was thinking about you the other day. I found your J-Mod paperwork and some photos of NYC (Mustang Magic). That was interesting to say the least.

Rodeo Joe,

Thank you Joe!

Carlover007,

Things are good! How's the J-mod running?

Wow, the bottom pic was taken on December 29th 2001! I remember hanging out at the shop all day. That was the day the good old Bullitbird had to get its hood cut so it wouldn't wake up the whole neighborhood bouncing off of the rev limiter in the driveway. :)

Jim,

Yeah that was a fun day, expect when I wasted that guys EEC with the sandpaper :zdunno: How I did that.

Mike V. drove all the way up to my house with his throttle cable rubbing on the hood and he basically was on the brakes the entire time. That sucked!

My favorite part was driving home, we left Mustang Magic about an hour before that kid with the Mustang (the pic that poor Pete is working his a s s off in the background).

So we are driving home just about to hit the Brooklyn Bridge and I almost get hit my this black Mustang with a kid driving it. Guess who it was? Yeap!

A few weeks later he went to another dyno shop in Josiey and had them try to burn a chip for his set-up. If you remember, his service port was not functioning on the V-6 so Jerry couldn't tune the car. Poor Pete's face!

Anyhow at the dyno...13 pulls later...he was the first owner of a supercharged 3 cylinder Mustang.

WOW!

Those were fun times.

Steve,

Well it was just a regular birthday. Nothing special. I went to my favorite watering hole with friends to celebrate...Honey Brown style.

The family is doing very well. My son turns 2 on May 25th. Wow how time does fly!

Don't worry, he already loves spark plugs and batteries. If he gets a spark plug in his hand he WILL NOT ley go until he falls asleep. It's weird.

One day we'll be back at the track.

Yeah, I remember him being schooled to keep the rpm down until all is squared away and then you mentioning later that he took it to the shop in NJ where they blew it up for him. Some people will never learn.
Oh, BTW remember how you told me to clean the carbon out of the engine using the loud pedal more often? Well, that was about 60k ago and I am happy to report that we are ping free even without 94 sunoco. Can't get that anymore around here. In fact, last time she went up on the rollers, the man ended up adding more timing to it. And with some assorted goodies added on since '01, that yelded us 17 additional rwhp :D
