I recently put in a newer tranny into my car, that came from a wrecked 93 3.8 bird.

All seemed good until I took it off the jack stands and tired ot back down the drive way. I put it in gear, and even with my foot on the brake, it seems to viberate very hard.

I took it around the block, and, once it hit about 5-10mph, it seemed to be like new.

When I get on the gas, and it should down shift, it is like it is slipping.

There is plenty of fluid in the tranny.

When the car was on jack stands, put it in each gear for about 30 secs or so.

The tranny was pretty dry when I got it, so, I wanted the fresh fluid to flow thru it. When I first put it into a gear, there was a small squeal, and quickly went away, I figured that it was from the tranny being dry.

After letting the car idle and taking it around the block, the fluid level remains the same.

I am open to some ideas on what to do here. There is also a dampener that hung from the tail housing, 1 of the bolts broke, but, the other 2 are holdiung.

Everything is torqued down.

Is there something I did wrong or??
