Comes with a Ballast for each light .. thats basically what a HID kit usually consists of, lights and ballast.

I have had my HID's in since end of October and am really happy with them, I got them from an ebay seller with 100% posotive feedback with a 7-9 k rating If I can find the company I will send you the name.

Thanks man.... I looked at both kits, and to me they are the same, hence that the quality of the McCulloch may be a lil higher, I see no difference between them. Lets see who is the ebay seller from which wishkah bought it from. Also, wishkad, you have pics dude? I would like to see some.

I've been wondering about those kits as well, paticularly more on the low cost ones I like the idea.... also porkchop this may be a dumb question, but if I were to install something like that one or the other one would I need to keep or remove the sleve things the bulbs go into in the lenses, they are kinda like triangles, the bulb sits in them I think its for aiming, sorry I have a lot to learn about lighting, my lights were finally aligned perfectly thanks to your article.... until a crazy ex gf took a baseball bat to my hood and headlamps :(

Also TX that is possibly one of my favorite qoutes from futurama "nothing makes you feel more like a man than a thunder cougar falcon bird"

they sell hi/low beam hid's..they cost more and DONT get the one where it just allows more wattage to power the bulb. get the hid hi/lo bulb with 2 bulbs in one.

Well the rule is if it didnt come with it, its illegal lol...thats what a so-cal narc told me. he didnt pull me over for the hid's, but he did pull meover for the black painted headlights. He said it makes the light beam darker, then i kindly pointed out it was painted around the lighting and it had the oem logo on it lol

The sellers name is nissangtrpower with 100% positive feed back with 10598 sales. here is the item number so you can see the kit I orderd 320043726986. These are just the low beams with 6000k bulbs. You want to keep the bulb temp lower for better light output, such as 4300k is the brightest light output but no color, 6000k is whiteish/blue(less light on the road) 8000k is very blue 10000k is blue/purple, and 12000k are purple but you can't see sh*t on the road in the rain. heres some pics...

This photo is with the headlights properly angled.

This one is before I reaimed my headlights

Keep in mind these are with out projectors in semi yellowed lenses.

As for hiding the wiring you could mount the balast's under the top of the rad supportand keep the wires wire tied neatly. My balast and ignitor are one piece, not seperate units and they are supposedly weather proof but I would still try to keep them in a dry spot.

You bought the 6000K, correct? I might buy them and put them on.. I like the way it looks... I was wondering if you get a lot of light too with the 8000k ones...
