On non go fast goodies, Finnaly got the exhaust stuff done no more leaks. Now Carrier bearing going out in the rear end and looks like the lock-up clutch in the convertor may be almost dead:(. Really can't complain the rearend has 7 years on it and countless burn-outs and dragstrip passes and the PI convertor is 6 plus years old. Close 70k miles on both. Should turnover 100k on the way home today.

Is it possible to get that PI converter rebuilt or is it more of thing you need to buy again. Just curious.

Convertor rebuild was 250.00 new clutch, bearings etc. Went ahead and had the tranny man refresh the tranny while it was out. For 60k it was in good shape. The rearend was 250.00 for the rebuild the ring and pinion was in great shape and the wheel bearings. He did one of the first tranny 101's from Jerrys article. The car drives like new.
