Ok gents...Ive got the 95 3.8 and the headgasket is blown. So as all of you respected professionals would agree...WHILE IM THERE lol...Id like to do some prevenative maintenace and add some performance parts. WHAT IVE SEEN so far that looks good is the stage 2 powerpack from www.supersixmotorsports.com HOWEVER, I really dont think that is a good deal at all. So can anyone recommend where I can get those parts without dropping that much.

Hi-Po3.8 PowerPak 94-98 3.8L V6 Mustang/89-up 3.8L V6 T-Bird
Stage 1: Ported heads, 3-angle valve job, ported intake manifolds(still the 50mm i believe-sucks), custom reground cam, $1,800
Stage 2: Stage 1 plus adj fuel press reg, rail-mount fuel press gage, custom chip, $2,370

I have the delta 40 flowmaster bolt on kit and a K&N filter up front and thats about it so far. Id like to get some pep back when I first bought it. Its at 108,000 highway miles as it is and Id like to get a lot of use and horseys out of it.

Your professional input would be greatly appreciated. Im just glad I have a forum to use to speak with my fellow bird owners. You can msg me here or direct email me at [email protected]

Heads and camshaft from rpm-mustangs.com
and a Chip from Fordchip.com

That should save you a BUNDLE right there

You might want to take a look in the classifieds at V6 Power. Sometimes people have projects that don't get too far and they want to sell what they have.

I'm not sure if anyone has produced chrome covers for the 3.8, a trip to the chromer might be in order. You could have the stock TB half-shafted and polished up. Rancherlee has done his own and he mentioned RPM Mustang, RGR over there can take care of this too. You could just go with a 96-97 70mm MAF, not sure if the 95 is this size. Just a thought!
