I'm trying to remove my exhaust so i can put my gp driveshaft in but i can get the pipes to come out of the muffler. Ive soaked it with pb blaster and wiggled the hell out of it but no luck yet. I really dont want to have to cut it but it just wont come out. The pipes were clamped never welded and will move aroud where they go into the muffler if you wiggle the exhaust.

Anyone have any ideas or tricks to get this thing apart. Need to have the car back together by monday so and advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

I second that....

unbolt the system at the headers, remove the rubber thingies back at the
mufflers, the one at the pumpkin and then slide the system backwards
to clear the tranny mounts...

Be prepared to use your muscle when it drops though...
The system weighs a lot!
