I called many places, the best price I found
was 679.00 thats what I paid plus tax+shipping.
I realize the Mark8 converter is a good buy as many here
have said. I am looking for more stall than the mark8
offers to correspond with my other mods to come.

I am going to acquire more parts than that later this week:

96 Hood
96 Headlights
96 header panel
96 Hood latch
96 Trans with less than 15k on rebuild, j-modded, w/ mark 8 converter
3.27 Locking Diff
96 Rear Disc Calipers

Already have:

Rear knuckles for Discs
Front PBR Calipers
96/97 Sport Shocks (All actual sport parts that are discontinued I believe)

Waiting on those GP springs to start ripping the car apart.

Where in MI are you at Steve? I go to school at Kettering in Flint.

Thomas, Im glad you noticed how shiney it is!!
I put many hours into that piece.
I bought the Accufab in the polished version but took it a step
further by wet sanding it and polishing it again.
I used 3 grades of compound and the result is a piece thats
looks like I chromed it.
Call me crazy but it was good therapy in the winter months!!

Man these PI intakes are the hottest mod for
our cars right now. Seems like everyones buying one.
Im sure Ford has noticed an increase in demand for these
and realizes they need some more AFFORDABLE parts for these
4.6L mod motors. Because really these PI intakes are cheap
compare to the other mods out there, to gain the same
amount of HP.

Any way Thomas,
you read my mind. I did remove the cross over from the intake
manifold and am currently smoothing it out. I will soon be
polishing it. I will for sure post pics when its done. Im sure it
will be one of a kind till others catch on.

no, we do not want ford to realize this! Because when ford realizes this, they will triple the price....

You know, the bullit intake used to be affordable until ford realized that they were a hot item. What was it... $300 or so?

Just to clarify.
I dont want anyone to think because
I said the PI intakes are cheap that I would be willing
to pay more for them!!!!! I'm just happy we have a mod
thats affordable compare to others for the same bang for
the dollar. I agree hopefully Ford willnot raise the price
but, as we all know they have in the past. My advise, if you
want one, get it now!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure Dan will still give it to us at the same price though, or at least a lot cheaper than other dealers.

If you go to your local dealership, that intake will cost you a lot more. Believe it or not, FRPP is selling the same intakes that the regular Ford parts suppliers get for less than half the cost.
