Hey guys, I'm back! Been absent for a couple weeks because of marriage/honeymoon stuff, but now I've returned and am ready to continue to strike fear and terror into the hearts of the rest of you mortals! :diablo:

It was supposed to be an outdoor wedding at the bride's house but we got rained out. Luckily enough we had the sense to develop a rain plan and we ended up moving the ceremony and all to the reception site. The staff was very helpful and understanding, and everything went about as smoothly as I could have asked for. Well, except for a few surprises which the wedding party had in store for me, but I'll let pictures speak on my behalf there.... :)

The car was given some "wedding love" as well. The best man's dad seemed to he having a lot of fun taking pictures of it too.

For our honeymoon we spent a day at a hotel in Holmes County (the Amish capital of the state, horse buggies EVERYWHERE!) then spent some time at a little cabin down near the Hocking Hills state park in SE Ohio. Absolutely beautiful region, and lots of twisties for the car to have fun on. ;) Lots of good hiking trails and amazing rock formations, cliffs, caves, waterfalls (even though the water wasn't very high due to rain) etc. We booked a couple of plane rides too, and I think I may have found the guy who I'm likely to try and get my flight lessons and license from! :)

It was a great trip, but as with all good things it had to end and now I'm back to the realities of the M-F workweek again. But it's good to be back! :D

Thanks! His rate is less than half what the closest flight school's rate is, so I'm much more optimistic of the prospects of actually being able to do it. The hardest part I think will be finding a way to get the time off work since the airport is about 3.5-4 hours from home. The first time we flew with him I sat in the back with Morgan but the second time I sat in the right seat and he let me taxi a little then handle the yoke on takeoff as well as do some basic maneuvers in the air. I lined us up with the runway and started the final approach, but he handled the landing once we got to short final.

Cool Bud. Your at the same age as I was when I got my licenses. Just a little note for ya when you start your training, when you get to the point of stall recovery, tighten up the stomach muscles, because it will want to drop like a rock . First time got me bad , but after that no problem . And on the topic a heli stall is something else all together . Autorotation is a bit of fun believe it or not .

Congrats Brandon!
When I first saw the thread title, the first thing I thought was someone got hammered one night and woke up the next morning with his new wife next to him! :zwall:

Lol.... The bigger question is how long before the bird is for sale to purchase an SUV, or, dare I say a minivan due to said children???

Hopefully the bird enjoys a long tenure in the stable no matter what. Congrats on the marriage. It's not easy, but can have it's perks too. Just remember that if mama ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy ;)

minivan lol, I've got minivan wheels for the Mark VIII Car seats fit surprisingly well in these cars. out of every car I've ever buckled my son into the Lincoln is the easiest. keep in mind that I am 6'3" 260lbs and too wide for most four door cars, I can step inside a coupe and place him in gently.
