I am working on a supercharger. Centrifugal flow.
I need to know a few things I cannot locate...
It is for an 86 supra i plan on making race worthy. Only problem is, I get the car for free and the owner doesn't know if its an 86 or an 86.5 model (different engines...)
well its either a 2.8 liter 160 sumthing hp or a 3 liter 200 hp...I believe if anyone else knows for sure please tell me.

Once iI know this I can continue, I have drawn out the plans but need to scale it and figure out gear rations...
It is based on a jet engine I made a few years back. I was going to modify the one for my jet into a supercharger for my lawnmower, but my parents wont let me touch it (they have a agdener now why do they need a 6 hp lawnmower?)

It is really quite simple as they both use the same principal. I cannot answer, though, which will flow more air...I am near positive the centifugal type for jets flows more air. The only difference is an added piece for the jet, the compressor wheels are the same the diffuser is added.

I can get some pics up of what the superchargers insides will look like, but it is near identical to what an over the counter (if that exists) supercharger is made up of...

guess you came to the wrong site for that car...

can you get the engine code?

7m-gte or 2jz-gte?

i'm guessing it's the 7m-gte which is the 2.8.

non turbo version might be 7m-ge.

have you tried popping the hood and taking a look at the motor?

all the old skule supras ive seen at the yards have the displacement stamped on the top of the motor...as in the valvecover.

I'm currently building my own supercharger. I'm making it out of aluminum foil and ornaments.
I parted out a CT2004 to get my blower.
