I have no intention of driving the whole thing, however i thought this is an idea to throw out there..

in june 2007 the hotrod power tour will stop in michigan for once, however not in detroit, but Kalamazoo, if you dont know where that is, id say 20 miles south of grand rapids?.. so 2.5 hr drive from detroit.

Besides the annual woodward dream cruise, i definitely want to hit one of these shows up, i was gonna think of starting in Cleveland, where it starts and then just driving to Kalamazoo, thats the second stop, and from there just come back to detroit, ive heard about this and always just wanted to go along with it.

would any others be interested in meeting in K-Zoo or driving part of it?


not for sure yet, but its just an idea to throw out there!

here is the dates and stops this year..

June 2 Cleveland, ohio
June 3 Kalamazoo, michigan
June 4 Racine, Wisconsin
June 5 Springfield, Illinois
June 6 Evansville, Indiana
June 7 Memphis, Tennessee
June 8-9 Little Rock, Arkansas

I know that Dave Dalke (XR7Dave) and his family are doing this again for 2007. I'm contemplating it myself, too. It always starts the same weekend as the All-Ford at Carlisle, so I've never done Power Tour yet.

A few of the people in the local car club I am part of are planning on going to cleveland and driving back up with the power tour. It would be sweet to meet up with some of you east side guys during it.
