Well for starters I don't think I even have a kick panel. The person before me must of taken it out. Anyways... I removed this white box thing that was attached with 2 9/32 sockets. After that I was suppose to remove the 10mm bolt from the EEC. Well the only bolt I saw I removed with a 7mm socket. I pulled down on it and the thing didn't come down. I took off the glove compartment, and the thing I was pulling on was the blower control (whatever the hell that is). So, now that you know what I am looking at, where is the EEC relative to that thing?

The EEC unit is tucked up in the side of the interior, about even in height with the glove box, and to the right of it (looking from the passenger's seat). It is easier to get at it, if you put the passenger seatback reclined all the way back, and lie on your back with your head under the dashpanel, and resting on the floor mat.

Since Scott's picture is from a Cougar and some people still might have trouble finding it, this is what it looks like on a Tbird.

I found it. Thanks for the help guys. BTW, how will the EEC slide back up and stay with a chip on it?

It will slide back up, and stay there just fine.

I re-installed the bracket that you take out to drop the eec housing.
