I changed out the dash on my 89 Thunderbird, and the donor dash did not have the VMM, vehicle maintenance monitor, wired in. I took the old wiring and cut out all of the extra wires, and now have the VMM wires and connectors to show how to reconnect this back in the new/donor dash. Has anyone ever done this before? Also, how do I drop the fuse box so I can put the wires back in the connectors?

On my '90, I believe there are two screws holding it up. Remove the plastic panel under the steering wheel, remove the metal cover behind it, then there should be one screw on the left side of the box and one on the right side. From there, all the wires are plug 'n play. Took me all of 20 minutes to swap out my melted fuse box.
