I'm taking the bird into Conversion Xtras here in Houston tomorrow and I don't want to express too much sticker shock when they give me the bill. I'm hoping around 3-4 hours max? I don't think I can afford too much more than a half day's work on it! Of course, I can pay if I have to, but who wants to? That and I need to know how many inches of book to bring during surgery.

It's a lot of work......

if those guys are really good, have all the right tools, and
are motivated to get it done quickly, and had done this install
before...it's still doubtful they would do it in 3-4 hours.

Read this Tech Article carefully - you'll get a good idea
of what you're in for....

Best of luck,

4.5 hours

Took 4.5 hours total to get the darn thing in. Shop manager wasn't too impressed. I think I should have gotten the 1.25, though, darn car rides like a truck now.
