Are you talking about the large 36mm nut at the center of the wheel hubs? If so, 188-254 ft-lbs.

seeming tight and actually being tight to the right spec are two different things.

I don't know about you but I wouldn't want that coming loose while I was driving because I THOUGHT it semed tight enough.

I tightened mine to 250ft-lbs.

250 ft-lbs is that the factory spec? When I pulled the dust cap off I expected a carter pin of some sort but there was only a bolt with a racer washer attached to it. That alone seemed scary to me.

What's the point in asking a question if you're not going to believe the answer?

An important note:

Install new front axle wheel hub retainer and tighten to 188-254 lb-ft.

The retainer is not reusable.
