How can i tell if my fuel pump is on it's way out the door? Can i test it myself and how?

Every once in a while when you first start the car, the engine stalls. When restarting it the engine will run rough and shakey. It always clears up and no CEL is set.

About 2 years ago you could hear a whinning/buzzing sound from the rear seat area all the time. Then it went away, i always thought the sound was the fuel pump going bad.

Do a fuel system pressure check. You will most likely have to take it to a shop, then they hook up a pressure guage to your fuel rail (theres a schrader valve on it) and then they test to see how long pressure stays in the system for how ever long of a time. I don't know the specs, but they can test it for ya for probly pretty cheap.
