Hmmm, I thought everybody knows dynamite is for fishing, not duck hunting.

Who the heck duck hunts in the winter anyway?

And my first reaction would be to shoot the dog too, and #8 shot WILL stop a dog. Other than that, you hunt ducks with steel which I've never seen in #8 shot, and you'd use something like #4 or #6.

I don't believe.

My first reaction would be to shoot the yutz that is trying to shoot the dog.

Lets call it 'population control'.

It's tough to imagine there being alot of truth in the story, but if there is,
just pray that they didn't breed during their blissful stroll through life.

For a final time, I refer the gentle reader to www.snopes.com and the conclusive proof therein that the story is just a rehash of a little morality tale dating back to before the turn of the century.

Yes, I believe we have it straight now that it's not true. I think they're just saying "What if?"....

My preceding comment had been authored before the last PNG post. I had failed to post mine in a timely fashion.

The foibles of life reached in and yanked me away from the depths of my pontification at the computer.

Well, considering that duck hunting is in the winter anyone who doesnt hunt duck in the winter, would be poaching, no?
Duck hunting is in the Fall, not the Winter. Unless they do things differently in the fruit and nut liberal world...(Calif.)
