I just got my jerry/dennis chip today (along with 2800 TC, plugs, T-stat)
BUT- my car is getting a tranny rebuild/jmod done, and I have to wait to install it

My question is- how exactly does the computer come out? I have already found it, and can get to it, but what is holding it in? Where are the bolts, and how many?

there is one bolt holding it in from the bottom side, i believe its a 10mm, but i could be wrong. i simply disconnect all the harnesses to free up some room, then get friendy with a socket until the whole thing just falls down. if its your first time taking it down it will seem like forever. in all actuality it only takes about 3 minutes.

I was worried that there were bolts on the top needing some ridiculous tool or something else Ford-like...
