Any chance I can fit 17x10.5 wheel with 315/40/17 in the rear? Rolling the lip is assumed.

AFS website has these as a sample:
SIZE AND SPECIFICATIONS: 5-lug (5X4½). This if for the rear - two 17"x10.5", (+27mm offset 6.9 backspace).

I can live without ebrake too.

If not, what's the widest 17 I can go?

I don't know what the offset was, but I test-fit a set of 17x10.5 wheels with some 315 tires on them that were intended for an SN95 mustang on my lemons Cougar a few years ago, and the rears cleared just fine, but the fronts there was no way in hell they were going to fit, and I thought it better for handling purposes to have the same size wheel at all 4 corners. That particular car has no parking brake hardware anymore, so I have no idea if that would interfere, but the body and all the suspension components cleared just fine.
