When Ford killed our baby, the Thunderbird, in 1997 they said that it would return!
Now, or in 2005, Ford is once again going to kill the Bird.
But do not worry, the name will return. I was reading on car and drivers web site that the Ford will bring back the name again.

I heard about that several months ago. Production is suspended after the 2005 MY -- which alludes to the idea that the Thunderbird name will pop up every so often.

Maybe we can convince them to build that SVO Bird...?
