I got a new sender and mounted it towards the back and it still got bent! I dont understand what its hitting.. the motor should move enough to smash it down. I mounted it forward before and now towards the back.. could I have a weak motor mount or somthing?? here is a current picture of it

i know its extremely nasty under there.. but the amount of **** ive had leak, lines blown off and such thats good lol

your sway bar bushings could be weak

what i did was put a 1.5'' straight fitting, then an elbow

whoa, damn.....oops, forgot to resize the pic....and yes i know it's dirty, i'll clean it when i pull the engine

You guys who apologize for the underside of a car being dirty are funny. It means you USE it. I have always maintained that dirt adds to the sleeper image :)

thats it! the sway bar was hitting it when it hit the ground.. figured that out today duhh on my half.. thanks guys!

you don't recall what fittings you need do you? the reason i ask is my car is my only car so i really don't wanna have to jack it up figure out what i need drop her back down and then go get the parts. if you don't remember its no biggie

The only fitting I used that wasn't in the kit was a 90* elbow. I THINK it was a 1/8" NPT, male/male. I'm not 100% sure that is the right size; maybe someone can confirm.
