Would running sea foam through a vaccum line clean the IACV?

Just curious as I'm doing some much needed maintnance.

Thanks

Haven't tried that...although I have some "Sea Foam" in my gas tank right now and it seems to have worked pretty well. There's been some pretty poor gas in this area and I wanted to clean out anything it may have left behind since I've permanently switched to Sunoco. I did however spray some throttle body cleaner into the IAC tube after I removed the violin case from the throttle body and that tube from the violin case. In addition, try spraying some TB cleaner into the little square opening on the right side of the throttle body opening. This hole is where air travels when the throttle plate is closed (at idle). After I sprayed that hole, I began to hear that strange "whistle" sound everyone talks about when they put on a cone filter, but only at about 1/3 throttle. Make sure you buy some TB cleaner that says it's safe for "coated throttle bodies" as that's what is stock on a 94/95.
