Car seems to be idling rough, is there any way to adjust this? I can be sitting at a light and the tach will go from 500 rpm up 800, then back down again. In the mornings I have to apply some gas to keep the engine run otherwise it stalls....HELP!!

I would give it a good tune-up. Check your plugs, wires. Get a spray bottle with some water in it and spray it under the hood when its dark. If you see a light show then your plug wires are shot. If you need to replace them make sure they are motorcraft, change your fuel filter, try cleaning your IAC and your MAF, there is a procedure on here in the how to's I think.

It's non-adjustable. The computer completely controls the idle speed of the car. If you are having idle problems, your IAC is likely faulty or dirty.
Got a pic on what it looks like and where it is?

I changed the plugs, wires and filters a few months back.

Well, I got it taken off, cleaned it, and put it back on. Seems to be running a little bitter. Not as much hesitation like before.

That IAC is a pain to get too. Thanks for the advice all.

Oh, I use electronics cleaner spray, was that ok, or should I use something else?
