What Rayo? I don't think so...

It only pays 1/2 hour and here are the instructions:

Service and Repair

Removal
Remove two screws retaining TFI/heatsink assembly to radiator support bracket.
Disconnect harness connector from TFI module, then remove two screws retaining TFI module to heatsink. Remove module.
Installation
Apply a 1/32 inch coating of silicone grease D7ZA-19A331-A or equivalent to metal base of module.
Place module onto heatsink, then install two retaining screws and torque to 15-35 inch lbs.
Install TFI module/heatsink assembly onto radiator support bracket and tighten retaining screws, then connect wire harness to TFI module.

Here is a bigger location diagram (it's in the bottom left):

Rick...Rick..Rick..

Let me school you.. :D

On the 89-91 MN12..The TFI Module is located on the front of the radiator support bracket..Behind the Front Bumper Cover..Making it very difficult to get to..

On the 92-93 MN12..The TFI Module was moved to behind the passenger side headlight..

Here's a pic of it I borrowed from StupidFly..

The OP has an 89 MN12..

You should spend more time getting your facts straight..And less time trying to prove me wrong about everything..

By the way..Don't hate..Congratulate!

I'm not trying to prove you wrong, I just know I've never had to pull a bumper to change an ignition module. Alldata is what all the shops go by (including ours) and Ford only pays .5 hours under warranty and .2 hours if it's a SC (I guess it's in an easier location to get to on the SC). I just can't see a bumper being pulled, the module replaced and the bumper put back on in half an hour.

Somebody who owns an '89 on here outta be able to set this straight! :D (well, you own a 1991, you actually had to pull your bumper to change that part)?

I'll put it to you this way..I couldn't get to my TFI Module with my original bumper cover on..

Like I said...All the 89-91 NA MN12 have the TFI Module in the same location..

Funny - remove my air box, and I could get to mine.

Easier than the bumper, IMO.

Oh - not the BOTTOM, just the TOP of the airbox, like I was changing the filter.

But that's on a 1991 that's somewhat a 1990 (amazing how much of what changes is still 1990 on Ruby ... )

Thank you that was easy just 2bolts for the heat sink and 2bolts for the module. It was right in front of the radiator.
