Next to each of the coil packs is what I think is a capacitor. I can't find any parts listed to replace these.
What are they. Metal can with one wire coming out??? Thanks

I was beginning to think it was the Flux Capacitor. LOL Thanks, mines working fine. Thought it was part of the ignition system that should be replaced on a 100,000 mile tune up....

These eventually fail open, 99% of the time, so you'll hear the alternator thru the stereo.

If they fail short, they disappear, pretty much, so you find a burnt and mangled wire where it used to be. :)

Car batteries are great for clearing shorts.

And I put a 1000 amp battery in it so it'll have lots of current to do that short fail nicely. LOL Used to use a big amateur radio in my car so that's why the BIG battery.
