I did a search, but came up empty.

Does anyone know of a quick way to eliminate/reduce the ignition retard that occurs during a part throttle shifts (primarily 1-2) - short of changing out the chip? Or is there an updated factory code revision that can be programmed that deals with this?

I find it quite annoying - now that the modified transmission shifts quicker, you can feel the timing pullback more than before.

Thanks,
Greg

Nope,it's in the EEC's program, and must be overridden with a chip for EEC-4,or a reflash/chip for EEC-5.There are no OEM programs that change it either.
