Ok,I am not lazy but would someone tell me how many and what size the bulbs are in the back of my 96 T-Birds insturment cluster?Plus,I just put my dash all back together and dont feel like tearing it back apart,right away at least.I put LMS white face gauges in but the lights dont match now.So I want to switch to green bulds so the whole dash will light up the same.Any ideas?And please dont say those little condom looking things because thay melt,lol.

The number of bulbs is...

There are 5 bulbs that are used for illuminating the gauge cluster.

Hope that helps

Also, there is a bulb under each of the lights at the bottom of the instrument cluster (i.e. behind the O/D OFF and CHECK ENGINE etc. indicators). Those bulbs are the same.

you'll need 3 packs. and they aren't bulbs, they are bulb covers (colored plastic)

but I am going to try to get the bulbs.I just dont trust those little covers to much.They may be able to take the heat but after a long peroid of time something like that has to give and I plan on keeping this car for awhile.

Just found out.....

I went over to my friends salvage yard and pulled out an insturment cluster to find out exactly.There is 5 bulds that light up the dash.They are 194 bulbs.Now I am happy and am going to find them here locally in green.

I was able to find the colored bulbs at Wal-Mart.

They seem to be clear bulbs that have been painted. I know that's not the best, but it's what can be readily found.

I am really looking for the colored glass ones though.I am sure some (YUK) import shop around here has them.Thanks for the look out though.
