Last night my car was vandalized, it was keyed all over, my stereo was stolen and my drivers window was broken. My car is worth around $4200 and i was quoted an estimate of $3200, I have farmers ins would they be willing to fixe it or will they try to total the car? Does anyone have experience with situations like this one?
thanks
Jose

If the repair cost is over 60% of the value of the car, it will be totalled and you will get the value of your car in cash minus your deductible. You can buy the car back for around 25% of the value and keep what they gave you and fix it.
