I have a rattle on the drivers side of the dash to about mid dash, I don't know whats causing it, but it would definately be discribed as a rattle, not a clunk, or squeek, or anything thing else, its anoying, I've torn into it twice, and am getting frustrated trying to find whats rubbing or it loose causing this noise, my friends 3.8 does the same thing only his is way worse. HELP!!!!

Is there any way to stop it? Like pushing on the dash in a certain spot while driving? Could be anything really.

just for giggles...try tightening the lever used to adjust the tilt of the steering wheel. (just turn it with your fingers )It might be your problem, might not... I know mine rattles pretty bad when it gets loose.

No I've tryed pressing and pulling everything in sight while its making the noise to try and get it to stop.

look at your center of your firewall from the engine bay and see if you have any crack occur there. the place i'm talking about is just sit directly on top of your tranny torque converter area.

What about the long trim panel on top of the dash? Have you tried pressing down on that in various places while driving?
